Just launched a movie on brilliant tattoo artist and painter Cris Cleen. Took me quite a while to wrap this project up, but I think it came out pretty nice for my first foray into documentary film making, and I learned so much from pre-production, to audio mixing to color correction, editing and not being too critical on yourself.
The film was shot in Oakland, Idle Hand Tattoo in Lower Haight, and some at Saved Tattoo in Brooklyn. All shot on a Canon 5D. Hope you enjoy. Will have to come up with a new creative project now to avoid Idle Hands – maybe a job?? Help a brother out and pass it around.
