Just learned about this. Dope new video (song wise and visually), strong beats and upcoming album dropping in June named “Love and Danger.” Download here. Really excited for this after watching this video. Can I have my own autograph? Kool Keith has been in the rap game since the ’80s, but he’s now reportedly planning [...]

Old news by now, but I decided to take the train down to 2nd Avenue & Bowery to take a few of my own shots of the new(ish) RETNA mural on the Deitch Wall. You can still see some of the old Faile mural on the side of the wall.

Awesome 2012 reboot of street and bathroom scrawling by London’s Pictures on Walls gallery. You can waste a lot of time on this site properly entitled, “An idiot’s guide to art made by idiots.” Love it.

Just in time for the Christmas Kidult is here to drop Illegal World Part II. Love this whole thing – cinemeatography, 80s murder music, message. Truth is the only reality.

Earsnot and Nemel getting paid to tag on a wall at Art Basel. Jesse is so funny, and the towel scene is epic.

Nice 12oz interview with IRAK’s Ear Snot, and some photos of a recent mural him and Jesse Geller did for Art Basel 2011. Interview here. 12ozProphet: How long have you written Earsnot? Earsnot: Since ‘98 I guess. So around 13 years. 12ozProphet: What’s the first tag you ever caught? . Earsnot: I think the first [...]

I’ve been meaning to post this, but haven’t found the time lately to write on here. Anyway, Kidult owns Celine with a giant “SK8″ tage after their recent ads showing models posing with skateboards and oversized canvases. Looks like Kidult made their store his canvas and got the paint color pretty darn close.

Was it really arabic graffiti on the Southwest planes? In a follow up, Gawker received tipster photos… Article here. The vague sword-shape of the markings is clear in these photos, which our tipster says were taken very recently. But… where did the “Arabic writing” bit come from? “I havent seen any ‘arabic’ writing either,” says [...]

The FBI is currently investigating Southwest planes which are chemically etched with Arabic graffiti. Oddly, the writing only shows up only after an auxiliary power unit on the plane is turned on, warming the underbelly, engines and landing gear. Way to go TSA, you’re doing a great job screening employees.

More from the illusive Paris(?) mass-media prophet, phantom Kidult. Highlghts of this film: Rebenga dying in Guantanamo, and Kidult’s recent expo of “LOVE” on oppressive retail. Negative energy never saw better. Hope this guy never sells art like Banksy and just likes it what for what he’s doing… Loving the shit show and horror music.

Great new book on the golden era of Bay Area graffiti with lots of interviews and photos. Order here. Veteran graffiti writers SFaustina and Jocelyn Superstar have collaborated on a history of the graffiti scene in the San Franscisco Bay area from the early 1980s to the late 1990s. A video on Kidult’s perspective on making graffiti illegal, the commercialism of an art form for brands to make money, and his vendetta against the Dior family’s Nazi heritage. Raw and ultra-aggressive, this is not for the faint-hearted. For sure, his vision blurs the line between vandalism and the dichotomy of how people perceive modern [...]

VBS follows Grime into his home, pissing him off and making him feel self-conscious by rifling though his garage and personal life. Very cool seeing his skate collection and memoirs of his early life.
