Really nice use of alchemy. This is a parlor trick that’s been getting passed around the web. I will be trying it out tonight. They did a great job filming this.

Absolutely mental article about this woman who decided to go and tattoo “Drake” on her forehead. If you don’t know already, Drake is a really awful hip hop dude and R&B singer. Kevin Campbell, the tattoo artist from the LA shop Will Rise did her work. Good luck with your life hun… Hopefully you can [...]

Filming is a bit like Richard Kern’s classic HardcoreM.. Dark and brooding release on Weird Records.

First off, silly ants at burning man posterizing time with a blur. Ultra-comical, terrible house music helps bring all the frenetic energy to life. Next, some extra-terrestrial business finding the horde by pouring concrete inside ant and termite colonies and finding alien corpse fossils. So mental. Is the horde here yet? Thank god GW3 is [...]

This story is so ridiculous about SF’s Chariman Bao lunch truck getting sued over its trademark by New York chef Eddie Huang. What he says about his lawyer is so over the top, who says shit like this? New York chef Eddie Huang chimes in on the bao trademark battle he just won over the [...]

Ossian Brown, member from the awesome electronic group Coil, compiled this book of strange and creepy Halloween costumes from his personal collection of found photos. The intro is written by David Lynch. Get it on Amazon. Some of the costumes look like they recycled some old KKK garb they had lying around the house, lol…

New Dirty Beaches song / video entitled Lone Runner. Reminds me of The Cramps slightly. Dirty Beaches kindly let us use his music in the Cris Cleen documentary I filmed. Song is brooding and dark, I like this sound very much. OFFICIAL VIDEO – Dirty Beaches, the solo project of Canada-based artist Alex Zhang Hungtai. This [...]

This song is so beautiful. Gives me the chills. This is a good one too called “Burning Room”: Pray for Rain is a San Francisco, California-based music production company and recording group specialising in film soundtracks, led by St. Louis, Missouri musician Dan Wool. Other members of Pray for Rain: Gary Brown, Paul Trupin (1958–1992) [...]

What is it these days with celebrities taking nude photos of themselves and then getting mad about it and blaming it on hackers when it gets leaked? Really? Is that normal to carry naked photos of yourself around in your cell phone? People Magazine article here. Warning – photos NSFW: Photo 1 Photo 2 The [...]

Kreayshawn leaks nude photos of herself after the MTV VMA awards, where she didn’t win best new artist, but blames it on anti-hollywood “hackers” who took control of her Twitter account. Still doesn’t explain how the hackers got her photos in the first place. According to Kreayshawn, “At least Im puttin A-cups on the map [...]

This video is awesome, and so is the sound. Stoked it’s not from Brooklyn. Available on Mannequin records or eMusic. Mannequin is so happy to release under its wings one of the best talents in the minimal synth new scene that you better don’t miss. We are talking about the serbian duo Sixth June – [...]

A video on Kidult’s perspective on making graffiti illegal, the commercialism of an art form for brands to make money, and his vendetta against the Dior family’s Nazi heritage. Raw and ultra-aggressive, this is not for the faint-hearted. For sure, his vision blurs the line between vandalism and the dichotomy of how people perceive modern [...]

This is so epic. We have dolphins, people losing their shoes and getting knocked back in the pool and having trouble getting out. So fucking awesome. It’s like pool side king of the mountain. I guess that’s what you get when you mix Seaworld with vodka. Via Turntable lab.

Next on my places I want to visit. Check out these massive and surreal sets on a floating stage in an Austrian Lake Constance. The festival takes place in July and August in Bregenz, Austria and celebrates performing arts. Festival site here.
Lol @ Ali G With an MFA. I posted a while back about “Art Matters” with Hennessy Youngman, but here’s an update to his prolific works of shining, and refreshing light. There’s also a Art in America Q+A about the finer, and more sensitive nuances and knowledge of this modern poet and visionary. You can [...]
Things are getting heated between Philadelphia’s Power 99 radio personality Tazz Daddy and Kreayshawn over the usage of the n word. Apparently Tazz Daddy called out Kreayshawn out for using the n word because she’s a white girl. So entertaining to see the cat claws come out between Fat Albert and this cute little lady. [...]
